I'm Whitney. Thank you for your interest in having me as a part of your journey. For the last 12 years, I have been a licensed professional counselor and therapist. It has been a privilege to serve individuals and groups across the state.  I look forward to working with you in one of the following capacities.
 
Both tele-therapy and professional coaching are available. Counseling, for those seeking traditional psychotherapy and life coaching for those looking for a collaborative, goal- orientated partnership that aids clients in personal development, growth, mindset and life transitions.
 
Counseling & Coaching....What’s the difference?

Counseling Sessions

50-60 minutes in length and utilize only evidence-based psychotherapy and may qualify for any out-of-network insurance benefits you may have. I no longer accept insurance. However, I can provide you with documentation you can provide your insurance company to utilize any out-of-net network benefits you may have.  I serve clients in Louisiana, Texas, Ohio and Minnesota.  I see adults, ages 18 and up. Sessions are online, utilizing Simple Practice HIPAA compliant video and audio. Sessions are $104 and billed through Simple Practice via Stripe.  Our therapy clients are not eligible for our Luna Souls coaching program or retreats due to dual relationship rules and regulations within the counseling code of ethics. Therapy services are run throught our sister company Whitney Mixon Wellness. Coaching 

Coaching clients do not receive a formal treatment plan, assessments, or diagnosis. The coaching framework also allows for utilization of various therapeutic tools in session, including but not limited to, sound bowl meditation, mindful movement, energy management and trauma informed yoga. This option is also available for those who have a therapist and wish to simply add mindfulness, trauma-informed yoga, and other modalities to their wellness journey. Collaboration with your other wellness professionals is available upon your request and consent. Coaching services are available online nationwide and not limited to specific states.  Sessions are $85 per hour. Coaching clients are welcome to attend Luna Souls Retreats.
